Aaron Schohn is an associate in the firm's Technology Transactions Group. Mr. Schohn focuses his practice primarily on technology licensing and transfers, research and development collaborations, technology outsourcing, mergers and acquisitions, and other key commercial agreements. He also provides clients with strategic advice regarding day-to-day commercial and corporate matters. Mr. Schohn works with companies in a broad range of industries including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, technology, software, and finance.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schohn worked as a life sciences practice group associate in the Boston office of another international firm. Before that, he worked as a process engineer for a biotech startup company and also conducted original research in a biochemical engineering laboratory at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Mr. Schohn earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. While in law school, Mr. Schohn was a member of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and the Samuelson Law, Technology, and Public Policy Clinic. He also earned a Jurisprudence Award in Food & Drug Law and Prosser Prizes in Criminal Law and Stem Cell & Cloning Research: Policy, Politics & Regulation. During his third year of law school, Mr. Schohn was a visiting student at Harvard Law School, where he was a student fellow at the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics.
