On April 19, Morrison & Foerster sponsored a one-day conference entitled “International Conference on Investment, Merger & Acquisition and Intellectual Property Deployment & Transaction in Biotech/Pharma Industry” in Taipei, Taiwan. The conference was held entirely in Mandarin, with more than 400 attendees. Four of our IP partners—Johnny Chiu, Peng Chen, Jie Zhou, and Janet Xiao—spoke at the event, on various topics including global IP strategies and portfolio management, IP evaluation in business transactions, and trade secret protection. Other co-hosts include Cornerstone Intellectual Property Foundation, Wispro, and Wau Yuan Property Appraisal Co. Ltd.
