Alexander St John is an associate in the Corporate Department of Morrison & Foerster’s Tokyo office. He has represented Japanese, U.S., and other clients in a range of cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, and joint ventures.
Mr. St John earned his J.D. in 2002 from The University of Denver Sturm College of Law School, where he was a Whitford Memorial Scholar and the Managing Editor of the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy. Mr. St John graduated from Northwestern University in 1998 with a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. St John worked in the Tokyo and New York offices of Deutsche Bank Group’s investment banking arm advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, predominantly, but not exclusively, in the healthcare, consumer and chemicals sectors.
Mr. St John is fluent in English and proficient in Japanese. He is licensed to practice law in New York.
