Alexianne Galea is an associate in the Brussels office of Morrison & Foerster LLP. She is a member of the Litigation Group where her practice focuses on antitrust and competition law, advising on cartel cases and merger filings, with a particular focus on EC competition law.
Ms. Galea previously worked at the European Commission in the Directorate General for Competition. At the EC, she was involved with merger filings and cartel investigations in a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, basic industries, consumer products, finance, and life sciences.
Ms. Galea earned her Masters degree in European and Comparative Law from the University of Malta in 2007 and her Doctor of Laws (L.L.D.) egregia cum laude from the University of Malta in 2006. Ms. Galea is admitted to the Maltese Bar.
Ms. Galea is a bilingual speaker of English and Maltese and also speaks fluent Italian and proficient French.
