For the ninth consecutive year, The American Lawyer has named Morrison & Foerster to its “A-List,” the magazine’s most prestigious ranking. The “A-List,” published July 1, is The American Lawyer's effort to "look beyond pure dollars to quantify the qualities that define the 20 most successful law firms in America" by scoring firms on four factors: revenue per lawyer, pro bono commitment, lawyer diversity, and associate satisfaction. From 2011, the firm improved our ranking by two spots, with notable increases in our pro bono and diversity scores.
In the same issue, MoFo ranked among the top 15 firms nationally in The American Lawyer’s annual “Pro Bono Survey.” The survey, which measures pro bono commitment, scores the average number of pro bono hours per lawyer and the percentage of lawyers who have dedicated more than 20 hours to pro bono work.
