Mr. Morrison is a partner in the firm's Real Estate Group. Mr. Morrison's practice focuses on the representation of funds, banks, REITs and other institutional clients in all major aspects of real estate-related transactions, including: financings; acquisitions and dispositions; development projects; fund formation; joint venture arrangements; restructurings and workouts; and distressed loan portfolio acquisitions. Mr. Morrison also represents lenders and sponsors in project finance transactions.

Representing Global Logistic Properties Limited, in its $1.6 billion joint venture with China Investment Corporation for the acquisition of 15 logistics properties in Japan from a fund managed by LaSalle Investment Management. Awarded Real Estate Deal of the Year by Asian Legal Business (ALB) Japan Law Awards 2012.
Representing global funds in connection with their acquisitions of performing, sub-performing and non-performing loan pools and bonds.

Mr. Morrison earned his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1998, where he was a Student Authorities Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, and received his B.B.A. degree from George Washington University in 1992. Mr. Morrison also studied Japanese language at Nanzan University, in Nagoya, Japan.
