Anna Ferrari’s practice focuses on employment and privacy law. As a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, she has substantive trial and appellate experience before state and federal courts. She has extensive experience litigating trade secret misappropriation and employee-raiding claims, including obtaining a favorable jury verdict on all claims and counterclaims following a five-week trial. She has also defended a number of complex actions involving wage and hour issues, discrimination claims, and general commercial issues before state and federal courts.
Ms. Ferrari is a member of the firm’s Employment and Labor Group, counseling clients on all aspects of employment law, including trade secrets, unfair competition, employment policies and procedures, social media issues, wage and hour laws, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination.
As a member of the Privacy and Data Security Group, Ms. Ferrari advises clients on compliance with various federal, state and international privacy and information security laws with an emphasis on workplace privacy issues. She also assists clients with employment and privacy issues in the context of mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.

Ms. Ferrari received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as Executive Director of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau. She holds a B.A. in political economy and English from the University of California, Berkeley. In 2013, Ms. Ferrari was named a Northern California “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. She is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
