Ashley Hutto-Schultz is a member of the Firm’s Financial Services group. Ms. Hutto-Schultz focuses her practice on consumer financial services laws and regulations affecting mortgage lenders and servicers, consumer finance companies, and mortgage brokers. Ms. Hutto-Schultz is regularly involved with Federal regulatory matters pertaining to mortgage lenders, brokers, servicers and their employees, as well as other real estate settlement service providers.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster LLP, Ms. Hutto-Schultz was an associate in a national law firm's financial services regulatory group and worked at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors supporting the Congressional Liaison Office. She also represented client interests in matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”). During law school she interned at FERC and completed an externship at the Legal Institution for Gender Equity in Athletics.
