The proliferation of new ‘apps’ and social networks focused on the mobile enabled traveller will offer both threats and benefits. Social networks for travellers will begin to impinge upon a company’s ability to get buy-in for travel policies but, conversely, a range of new applications will enable companies to track and communicate with their travellers like never before.
