Barbara Barath is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster's San Francisco office. 

Ms. Barath received her B.A. degree, with Departmental Honors, from Stanford University in 2004 and her M.A. in European Studies, International Economics, and International Law from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in 2006. During graduate school, she studied at the SAIS Bologna campus, participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, and was an Editor of the Bologna Center Journal of International Affairs, which published her article "The Irish Reprimand: Effects on EU credibility and enforcement power."

She received her J.D. degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2009 and was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, she was a legal extern for Judge Audrey B. Collins in the Central District of California and a legal clerk for the Major Crimes Division of the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. She also participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, the Hale Moot Court Honors Program, and the Post-Conviction Justice Project.
