Charles Ciaccio joined the firm in 2011 and has worked in the firm's Financial Transactions Group in San Francisco.
Mr. Ciaccio earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 2011 and was elected to the Order of the Coif. At Boalt, he served as an Articles Editor for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and was a fellow of the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology. While his legal interests in law school were diverse—from asylum and internet gambling to intellectual property and business law—he particularly excelled at the latter, earning Jurisprudence Awards in bankruptcy, secured transactions, and an intellectual property survey course, while also earning a Prosser Prize in contracts.
Prior to law school, Mr. Ciaccio taught high school in New York City through the New York City Teaching Fellows program. He holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in Latin from the University of Georgia and an M.A. in Secondary Mathematics Education from the City College of New York. He proudly hails from New Orleans, where he graduated from Jesuit High School.
