Chenwei Wang is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Wang was a law clerk to the Honorable Gerald Bruce Lee at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  While in law school, she served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Randall R. Rader at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  Ms. Wang also interned for the Honorable Henry H. Kennedy, Jr. at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.  Additionally, she worked as a summer intern in the Office of Chief Counsel at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Before attending law school, Ms. Wang worked in the field of biomedical research for several years and co-authored research papers in scientific journals, including Nature Genetics, The Journal of Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, and Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science.

Ms. Wang received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School where she was on the senior staff of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal. She received her M.S. in computer science from Johns Hopkins University, and her M.S. in applied molecular biology and B.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Ms. Wang is a native Mandarin Chinese speaker.
