Ms. Tomita has over 20 years of experience providing Japanese tax advisory services to Japanese and foreign-based multinational companies, including cross-border M&A transactions, intra-group reorganizations, and tax audits. She is highly experienced in tax minimization projects and worldwide tax restructuring projects for multinational companies.
Before joining Morrison & Foerster Zeirishi Hojin, Ms. Tomita was a tax partner in the Tokyo office of a leading global accounting firm. In addition, Ms. Tomita served for five years as the head of tax in Japan for a multinational UK-based telecommunications company.
She has conducted numerous seminars regarding Japanese tax updates in Tokyo, New York, and Singapore.
