Chris Magaña is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department.
Mr. Magaña earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law where he received both the King Hall Public Interest Certificate and the King Hall Pro Bono Certificate. He was also an Academic Excellence Scholarship recipient and earned the Witkin Award in Civil Procedure. He served on the King Hall Moot Court board and as executive editor of the UC Davis Journal of International Law & Policy. During law school, he served as a clerk for the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and as an extern with the California Law Revision Commission.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Magaña served as the Director of Constituent Services for U.S. Congressman Jerry McNerney and as a Staff Assistant to U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer. He earned his B.A. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley.
