Christopher Norall is a seasoned specialist in competition and merger control law. Mr. Norall counsels many high-technology companies, especially in the electronic components, consumer electronics, information technology, and life science sectors, on compliance, and represents them in administrative proceedings (as defendant or complainant) and in merger control proceedings. He frequently advises on distribution, licensing, and joint ventures in these sectors, as well as on payment systems and electronic trading platforms in the financial services industry.
Mr. Norall also has extensive experience in the field of European Union and international trade law, including anti-dumping and anti-subsidy proceedings and customs law, and has advised several governments in GATT/WTO dispute resolution proceedings involving anti-dumping issues.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster in 2000, Mr. Norall co-founded the boutique law firm of Forrester Norall & Sutton in Brussels, a law firm that specialized in EU law and international trade law. He served as Long Comment Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, and was elected Order of the Coif.
