Clara Lim is an associate in the firm’s Federal Tax Practice Group. Ms. Lim advises clients on the federal tax aspects of domestic and international corporate and partnership transactions, including securities offerings, financings, mergers and acquisitions, fund investments, and reorganizations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lim was an associate in the tax group at Shearman & Sterling LLP. Ms. Lim earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law where she worked on the Journal of Asian Law and was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar. She earned her M.A. in simultaneous interpretation and translation (English-Korean) from the Graduate School of Interpretation & Translation at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and her B.A., magna cum laude in English language and literature from Ewha Womans University.
Ms. Lim is fluent in Korean.
