Michael Liebreich is our keynote speaker and will be discussing Global Investment Trends in Renewable Energy. Michael is the chief executive of Bloomberg New Energy Finance. Michael founded New Energy Finance in 2004, and was its chairman and chief executive until the privately-held firm was acquired by Bloomberg L.P. in 2009. In addition to his role at BNEF, he is also a visiting professor at London’s Imperial College Energy Futures Lab, a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Sustainable Energy, a member of the advisory board of the Clinton Global Initiative’s Energy and Climate Change working group, a member of the Accenture Global Energy Board, and a member of Energy Leadership Forum, E+Co, an NGO financing clean energy in the developing world.
We will also be joined by a team from Autodesk, who will talk about the company's innovative Clean Tech Partner Program which supports early-stage clean technology companies by providing design and engineering software.
