Colin O’Brien is an associate in Morrison & Foerster’s Litigation Group in the Denver Office, where he was also a summer associate while attending law school.

Mr. O’Brien received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Washington University School of Law, where he was Executive Editor of the Washington University Law Review. Having the highest cumulative grade point average in his graduating class, he received the prestigious Alumni Association Award, in addition to many other academic awards.

He received his B.S., cum laude, in Justice Systems from Truman State University, with a minor in Spanish. He also participated in foreign studies at Centro Lingüístico Conversa in Costa Rica (2005), and at Pontifical Universidad Católica de Valparaíso in Chile (2006).

Mr. O'Brien served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable David M. Ebel in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, where he worked on both appellate and district court matters. He also served as judicial intern to the Honorable Robert G. Dowd, Jr., in the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District.

Mr. O’Brien is admitted to practice in Colorado, as well as before the Tenth Circuit and the Eighth Circuit.
