David Walsh is a partner in the firm’s Consumer Litigation and Class Action practice group and is based in the Los Angeles office. He focuses his practice on class action and other complex business, commercial, real estate, and environmental litigation matters.  

Among other clients, Mr. Walsh has handled matters for Amgen Inc., Asurion Corporation, Brink’s, Incorporated, DS Waters, Flowserve Corporation, Grupo Bimbo, McKesson Corporation, Nestle USA, Inc., T-Mobile Communications, Inc., Steelcase Inc., Twentieth Century Fox, and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.

Mr. Walsh is active in a wide variety of bar and community organizations. He is a member (2000–present) of the Executive Committee of the Environmental Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and serves on the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Litigation Section's Federal Courts Coordinating Committee. Mr. Walsh has been recognized as a Southern California Super Lawyer during each of the past 10 years (2003 to 2013) by Los Angeles Magazine and as a local litigation star by Benchmark Litigation (Euromoney). He is an ex officio Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference.

Mr. Walsh is a trustee of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, past president of the Board of Directors of Urban Compass, and serves on the boards of the QueensCare Corporation, QueensCare Family Clinics, QueensCare Foundation, and the Inner City Law Center in Los Angeles. He is a member of the Board of Councilors for the University of Southern California School of Law and is Chair of the Law School’s Judicial Clerkships Committee, as well as the Law School’s Honorable Howard B. Turrentine Fund. Mr. Walsh is a member of the Chancery Club of Los Angeles and the Executive Committee of the Society of Friendly Sons of St. Patrick.

Mr. Walsh received his J.D. from the University of Southern California. He received his B.A. degree in English literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He served as law clerk to the Honorable Howard B. Turrentine, U.S. District Court of the Southern District of California.
