Debra Shields is an associate in the Corporate Department of the London office of Morrison & Foerster.
Ms. Shields advises on a range of matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private financings, public offerings and restructurings. She has particular experience advising companies in the energy and natural resources, cleantech and technology sectors. Ms. Shields' recent transactions include advising Al Shaheen Energy Services Company (Qatar Petroleum subsidiary) on its £125 million acquisition of a 50 percent stake in GE's pipeline services business and advising TGE Gas Engineering GmbH on its share acquisition of Technodyne International Limited, a cryogenic storage tank engineering company.
Ms. Shields holds an LL.M from the University of Essex and an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Glasgow. She is admitted to practice in Scotland and England and Wales.
