Edward Welch is an associate in the Capital Markets Group of the New York office of Morrison & Foerster.
Mr. Welch represents issuers, underwriters and placement agents in a variety of securities offerings, including public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities, both domestically and abroad. He also advises corporate clients on a broad range of securities law and corporate governance matters. Mr. Welch is co-author of Considerations for Foreign Banks Financing in the US, published by International Financial Law Review (2012).
Mr. Welch received a J.D. degree from the Fordham University School of Law in 2005, where he was a member of the Fordham Environmental Law Journal. Mr. Welch was previously associated with the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, practicing in both their New York and London offices.
