Euborn Chiu is an associate in Morrison & Foerster’s Patent Group. Mr. Chiu specializes in helping clients obtain patent protection, in the U.S. and throughout the world, for their inventions. He also helps his clients navigate patent-related issues that arise during the course of business.
Mr. Chiu has advised both large and start-up companies in the electronics, software, and Internet space in matters involving patent prosecution, freedom-to-operate analyses, and due diligence evaluations, among other patent-related matters. Mr. Chiu brings to the table a decade of experience in software development, including expertise in Internet-related and legacy software products, electronic devices, computer systems administration, as well as network architecture.
Mr. Chiu earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law with a concentration in intellectual property law. While attending law school, Mr. Chiu served on the Hastings Moot Court Board. Mr. Chiu earned his B.S. in electrical engineering from Cornell University with a concentration in computer engineering.
