On June 5, Euromoney Legal Media Group recognized four Morrison & Forester lawyers as leaders in their respective practice areas at the 2013 Americas Women in Business Law Awards. The winning MoFo lawyers were San Francisco associate Anita Choi (intellectual property rising star), San Francisco partner Rachel Krevans (patent), New York partner Anna Pinedo (structured finance; also a finalist in the capital markets category) and Palo Alto partner Catherine Polizzi (life sciences).
Six other MoFo lawyers were finalists in their respective practice areas, including San Francisco partner Michèle Corash (environment), Washington, D.C. partner Roxann Henry (antitrust/competition), San Francisco associate Michelle Jewett (tax rising star), San Francisco partner Rita Lin (litigation rising star), New York partner Barbara Mendelson (financial regulation) and Palo Alto senior partner Gladys Monroy (patent).
MoFo was shortlisted for six firm awards, including Best in the U.S. Northeast, Best in the U.S. West, Best Gender Diversity Initiative by an International Law Firm, Best International Firm for Work-Life Balance, Best International Firm for Pro Bono Work and Best International Firm for Women in Business Law.
