The Financial Markets Association (FMA) is hosting a conference on legal and legislative issues in 2010. The learning objective of the program is to share information, ideas and experiences on current “hot topic” regulatory and legislative initiatives with banking/securities attorneys, senior compliance officers, internal auditors and regulators where the focus is on high-level discussion of evolving banking and securities law, enforcement proceedings, financial holding company issues, securities underwriting and distribution, and public finance.
Our Jerry Marlatt is joining a panel to discuss securitization and the capital markets.
The panel will cover:
- the potential impact of the Dodd-Frank Act on securitizations;
- covered bonds; and
- the potential impact of the Volcker Rule on the capital markets.
