Gabrielle Holburt is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster's San Francisco office, and a member of the firm’s Securities Litigation, Enforcement, and White-Collar Defense Group. Her practice focuses on representing companies, audit committees, officers, and directors in SEC and other regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings. Her experience includes representing public companies and individuals in insider trading cases, government investigations, regulatory proceedings, internal investigations, and other complex litigation matters.
Ms. Holburt earned her J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was an online editor of the Yale Law Journal and a student director of the Advocacy for Children and Youth Clinic. During law school, she interned at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in New York. Prior to law school, Ms. Holburt was an analyst at J.P. Morgan Securities and a research associate at the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. She was a Student Marshal at the University of Chicago, where she graduated with a B.A. in economics, with honors.
She is a native Mandarin speaker.
