More than 65 countries have their own data protection laws regulating the collection, use, transfer, and disclosure of personal information, and the news brings frequent reminders of the pitfalls of failing to complying with these complex and often conflicting laws. This BNA audioconference will focus on the wide variety of data security obligations globally, including in the United States, Japan, and Spain, and will provide practical guidance on how multinational companies can approach their global data security obligations. The panel will also discuss how global data security laws are evolving and what companies should do today to anticipate and prepare for future developments.
