Heidi J. Johanns is an associate in the Corporate Department in Morrison & Foerster's New York office. Ms. Johanns' practice focuses on general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law.
Ms. Johanns received her B.A. in 1999 from Grinnell College, where she majored in biology with a concentration in environmental studies. In 2002, she received her M.P.H. from Yale University School of Public Health. She earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2006, where she was an editor of the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy and was awarded the Ann Petluck Poses Memorial Prize for outstanding work in a clinical course. Ms. Johanns is admitted to practice in New York.
Her recent article, "Sovereign Wealth Funds: Risks, Rewards, Regulations and the Emerging Cross-Border Paradigm," co-authored with partner Michael Hagan, was published in The M&A Journal June 2008.
