Henrique Canarim is an associate in Morrison & Foerster’s Corporate Department based in the New York office. Henrique has broad experience representing U.S. and non-U.S. public and private companies as issuers in public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, including initial public offerings, private placements of high-yield and investment grade debt securities to institutional investors under Rule 144A, public-for-private exchange offers, and private placements. He also represents underwriters in public offerings and placement agents in private placements.
Henrique regularly counsels U.S. and non-U.S. public companies in compliance with periodic reporting requirements under the federal securities laws and corporate governance requirements of various stock exchanges. His practice is also focused on Latin American clients and cross-border transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Henrique was an Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York. He has also worked as Corporate and Regulatory Counsel for Brazilian Stock, Mercantile and Futures Exchange in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Mr. Canarim is fluent is Portuguese, Spanish and French.
