Isaac Raskin Young is an associate in the Corporate Department in the New York office of Morrison & Foerster. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and commercial matters. He has assisted clients with acquisition, investment and sale transactions in the software/technology, manufacturing, media, energy and natural resources sectors.
Mr. Young regularly advises clients on the drafting and negotiation of a variety of commercial contacts, including software, trademark and pharmaceutical license agreements, service agreements and supply agreements. He also assists domestic and foreign companies in establishing and managing subsidiaries outside of the United States.
Mr. Young is proficient in Japanese and has spent time working in the firm’s Tokyo office. He also attended the Inter-University Center for Japanese Language Studies in Yokohama, Japan, during the 2009-10 academic year.
Mr. Young earned his law degree at Cornell Law School, cum laude, where he was notes editor for the Cornell International Law Journal. While in law school, Mr. Young worked as an intern for the Honorable Shira A. Scheindlin of the Southern District of New York.
