Jake Ewerdt is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster's Washington, D.C. office, where his practice focuses on patent litigation.
Mr. Ewerdt received his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law in May 2009, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Ewerdt worked as a software engineer for About.com, a manager for eMeta (now Atypon), and the technology director for a campaign for Governor. Mr. Ewerdt is a co-inventor on several patents relating to the cost-per-click online advertising technology.
