Javier Serrano is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Serrano served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lucy H. Koh in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and to the Honorable Louis F. Oberdorfer in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He also worked as an attorney in Washington, D.C. for the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights and in Santa Clara County for the Office of the County Counsel.
Mr. Serrano received his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he was an editor on the Stanford Law & Policy Review and a member of the Stanford Latino Law Students Association. During law school, he also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable James Ware in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Mr. Serrano received his M.P.P. from Claremont Graduate University and his B.A., cum laude, in philosophy, politics, and economics from Claremont McKenna College.
