Jennie Tan is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Morrison & Foerster, where she is a member of the Financial Transactions Group. Ms. Tan’s practice focuses on debt financing transactions, representing both lenders and borrowers in a wide variety of contexts, including secured and unsecured lending transactions, syndicated lending transactions, acquisition financings, asset-based facilities, and cross-border transactions.
Ms. Tan has experience in a variety of industries, including information technology, restaurants, hotel and gaming, airline transportation, and maritime transportation.
Ms. Tan received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2003 and her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2007. While in law school, Ms. Tan was a member of the Southern California Law Review and a Student Legal Writing Fellow for the Legal Writing and Advocacy Program. In addition, Ms. Tan served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ernest M. Robles of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Tan was an associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP.
