Jeny Maier is a litigation associate practicing in the antitrust practice group of Morrison & Foerster's Washington, D.C. office. Her practice focuses on antitrust counseling - in particular, assisting clients with navigating the FTC and DOJ merger notification and review process and assisting clients with responding to civil and criminal antitrust investigations. Ms. Maier has worked with clients in the technology, telecommunications, transportation, and pharmaceutical fields.
Ms. Maier's practice also covers energy matters. She has assisted in a number of regulatory litigation matters at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the DC Circuit for the State of Alaska relating to the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS). She has provided nuclear regulatory analysis and advice in connection with a client's negotiation of an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Contract for a new nuclear power plant.
While at George Washington, Ms. Maier was a legal intern for the Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Competition, and for the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division (National Criminal Enforcement Section).
