Jessica L. Rice, an associate in the Morrison & Foerster San Diego office, focuses her practice on executive compensation and employee benefits with particular expertise in executive and equity compensation matters, and mergers and acquisitions. She represents both public and private high-technology clients in connection with executive compensation and employee benefits matters. Her practice includes designing and implementing equity incentive plans, non-qualified deferred compensation arrangements, retention plans, bonus plans, employment agreements, tax-qualified retirement plans, severance and change of control arrangements, and other welfare-based arrangements, as well as advising clients on any tax, accounting, securities, or other federal and state law issues with respect to such arrangements and plans. In addition, Ms. Rice is actively involved with the firm's transactional practice, working with employers to manage the transition of employees and their benefits during and after a merger or acquisition.
