Jim Krenn is an associate in the corporate group of Morrison & Foerster's San Diego office. Mr. Krenn has a general corporate practice, with an emphasis on representing life sciences and emerging technology companies ranging from start-ups to publicly-held corporations.
Mr. Krenn's private company practice focuses on advising start-up and emerging growth companies in matters including formation, financing, and mergers and acquisitions. He also represents venture capital firms in their investments in such companies. Mr. Krenn's public company practice focuses on advising clients on securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and SEC reporting and compliance. Mr. Krenn has represented clients in various industries, including cleantech, medical device, biopharmaceutical, software, semiconductor, and action sports.
Mr. Krenn received his J.D., cum laude, from the Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the Harvard Association of Law & Business and the Harvard Green Campus Initiative. Mr. Krenn received his B.B.A., summa cum laude, in finance from the University of Notre Dame where he was a recipient of the Hamilton Finance Award and the Eugene D. Fanning Award in business communication.
