Jing Bu is a consultant in Morrison & Foerster's Beijing office. Mr. Bu has advised Chinese and international clients on a diverse range of matters including general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and other foreign investment-related matters. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, he spent several years working for a leading PRC firm in Beijing advising clients on a variety of corporate matters including corporate restructuring and telecommunications and IT industry regulatory issues.
Mr. Bu earned his LL.M. degree from Harvard University in 2008, J.M. from Tsinghua University in 2007, and B.A. from Anhui University. He graduated first in his class at Tsinghua University and was the recipient of the Hong Kong-Tsinghua University Legal Prize.
Mr. Bu was admitted to the New York bar and has passed the PRC national bar exam. He is a native Chinese speaker and fluent in English.

- Representing Intel Capital Corporation in multiple investments and strategic alliances in China, including its investment in Cloud Union Ltd, a leading live cloud and streaming service provider for high quality (3D graphic and rich audio) gaming in China.
- Represented Infinity Venture LLP in connection with its investment in a number of PRC online gaming companies.
- Represented China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group's fund in connection with its series C preferred equity investment in a cleantech company.
