Joanne Sur is an associate in the Capital Markets Group of the New York office of Morrison & Foerster. Her practice focuses on the representation of issuers and underwriters in a wide range of public and private securities offerings. Ms. Sur has also advised public companies in connection with securities regulation matters and filing requirements under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
Ms. Sur received her B.A. in economics from Columbia University and her J.D. from Cornell University Law School, where she served on the Cornell International Law Journal.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Sur worked in the capital markets group of a large international law firm, where she represented issuers and underwriters in connection with public and private debt and equity securities offerings.
Ms. Sur is admitted to practice in New York and is fluent in Korean.
