Joel Haims is co-chair of the firm's Securities Litigation, Enforcement, and White-Collar Defense Group. He specializes in securities and complex commercial litigation, primarily representing public companies and their officers and directors in securities class actions, shareholder derivative lawsuits, mergers and acquisitions litigation, and SEC investigations. He also has extensive experience conducting and defending corporate internal investigations and advising board committees and individuals, and with arbitration and mediation. As an associate, Mr. Haims also gained experience drafting SEC filings, managing corporate and securities transactions, and negotiating commercial contracts.
His clients are from a broad range of industries, including financial services, life sciences, medical devices, technology, and consumer products, and many are foreign-based, with headquarters in China or Israel.
