Joi Garner is an associate with the Corporate Department in Morrison & Foerster's New York office. Her practice focuses on general corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities laws.
Ms. Garner earned her J.D. in 2007 from the Hastings College of the Law at the University of California, where she was Staff Editor of the Hastings Business Law Journal.
She served as an intern with the Felonious Crimes Division of the San Francisco County Public Defender's Office. Prior to attending law school, she worked in international public relations for the National Basketball Association.
