Jon Edgell is a consultant within the firm's Technology Transactions Group and Global Sourcing Group.

Jon is one of the UK's leading technology and outsourcing lawyers. He advises clients on complex IT outsourcing transactions, and technology strategic partnering.

Jon's clients include banks, insurance companies, airlines, governments and major international companies and, while his practice is primarily focused on customers, he has also advised vendors in the outsourcing sector, giving him a deep understanding of the commercial drivers behind outsourcing deals. His practice also spans information technology and e-commerce matters.

Jon was awarded a first class degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Bath in 1989 and qualified as a solicitor in 1996.

Skandia UK $200-million IT Outsourcing.
Successfully represented Skandia UK, a leading independent provider of long-term savings solutions, on a $200-million, multiservice, five-year IT outsourcing deal with HCL Technologies. (2007)
Debit and Credit Card Outsourcing.
We advised a leading UK High Street bank on an outsourcing agreement in respect of the manufacturing and personalization of its debit and credit card portfolio. (2007)
Cash Management Outsourcing.
We advised a leading retail bank on two strategically-vital cash management and cash in transit contracts. These contracts support the bank's multi-billion pound dail cash movements around the UK to branches, ATMs, and customers. (2008)
