Joyce Liou is an associate in the Litigation Department in Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office. She has experience in domestic and international trademark prosecution, copyright and trademark enforcement, and domain name arbitration. She has litigated proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board as well as copyright and trademark infringement actions in federal courts. In addition to litigation, Ms. Liou advises clients on intellectual property issues in a variety of fields, including wireless networking, consumer electronics, computer software, advertising, and food products.
Ms. Liou received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2010. While attending law school, she externed for the Honorable William H. Alsup of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. She received her B.A. in economics and political science, with distinction, from the University of California, Berkeley in 2007.
