Kai Bartolomeo is an associate in the Litigation Department of the firm’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Bartolomeo’s practice includes a broad range of complex litigation in both state and federal courts. He represents clients in consumer class actions, regulatory and private securities actions arising under state and federal securities laws, and a variety of other complex commercial disputes. He also represents clients in both internal investigations and government investigations brought by state and federal regulatory entities.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Bartolomeo was an associate at another global law firm in Los Angeles. From 2008 to 2010, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Alicemarie H. Stotler in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Mr. Bartolomeo received his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he was editor in chief of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice. During law school, Mr. Bartolomeo served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Gary A. Feess in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Mr. Bartolomeo graduated with highest honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with dual degrees in politics and history.
