Kelley Howes, of counsel in MoFo’s Denver office, recently participated in a women’s roundtable with Law Week Colorado, which included a group of women who had a wide range of experiences from being an in-house counsel to a lawyer in private practice. This year’s topic was women in the workplace, which has once again become the focus of popular discussion due to the publication of Sheryl Sandberg’s book Lean In.
Ms. Howes discussed what it takes for women to succeed in the workplace. She stressed the importance of support networks that can include family, friends or colleagues, and the need for clear communications. She also noted that success requires hard work and maintaining good working relationships.
