Kiyoe Kabashima is an associate in the Litigation Department in the Tokyo office of Morrison & Foerster LLP. Ms. Kabashima's practice includes litigation matters and internal investigations in the areas of intellectual property, with an emphasis in patents. Ms. Kabashima has an extensive experience in patent prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the Japan Patent Office. She is admitted to the New York bar and the District of Columbia bar. She is also registered as a patent attorney in the USPTO.
Ms. Kabashima received a B.E. in Urban Engineering from the University of Tokyo, a Master of Regional Planning from Cornell University, and a J.D. from Catholic University, Columbus School of Law. She is fluent in Japanese.
