Kristina Hickerson is an attorney in the New York office of Morrison & Foerster’s Financial Services Practice Group. Ms. Hickerson focuses her practice on retail financial services, with a special emphasis on privacy and data security. She advises clients on compliance with federal and state privacy and information security laws, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, security breach notification requirements and state Social Security number laws.
Ms. Hickerson is returning to the firm having served as Director of Corporate Law, Privacy and Information Security Counsel in the Office of General Counsel at a major investment bank.
Ms. Hickerson earned her J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law, where she was on the editorial board of the Administrative Law Review. She earned her B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from Gettysburg College.
Ms. Hickerson is admitted to practice in New York.
