Laurence Yuan is an associate in the Financial Transactions Group and Corporate Department of Morrison & Foerster's New York office.
Mr. Yuan received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Stone Scholar and Note Editor of the Columbia Journal of Asian Law. He has previously worked at Morrison & Foerster as a summer associate, and has served as a senior legal advisor for Allen & Overy LLP and Deutsche Bank AG.
Mr. Yuan received his Ph.D. in private international law and LL.M. Cum Laude in international trade and economic law from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, his LL.B. (J.D. equivalent) with honors from Fudan University Law School in China, and his B.A. from Beijing Language and Culture University.
Mr. Yuan is admitted to practice in New York and also has a Chinese Lawyer Qualification Certificate. He is fluent in Mandarin.
