Mary Prendergast is an associate in the San Diego office of Morrison & Foerster. Her practice focuses on intellectual property and general litigation matters.
Ms. Prendergast has represented clients in the pharmaceutical, electronics, semiconductor and telecommunications industries. She has coordinated fact and expert discovery, taken depositions, participated in trial preparation, and drafted dispositive motions in multi-defendant, multi-patent matters in federal courts across the country.
Ms. Prendergast received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was editor-in-chief of the UCLA Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs. She was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program, earned Outstanding Oral Advocate honors at UCLA’s Fall 2008 competition, and was a finalist in the Roscoe Pound UCLA Moot Court Competition. Ms. Prendergast received her B.F.A., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
Ms. Prendergast worked as a law clerk for the California Attorney General’s Office, and as a legal extern at the Department of Defense General Counsel’s Office for International Affairs.
