Matthew King is an associate in the Technology Transactions Group in Morrison & Foerster’s New York office.

Mr. King’s practice focuses on outsourcing and managed services agreements, licensing transactions, data processing agreements, and IP-intensive mergers and acquisitions. He has worked on several complex outsourcing transactions, including those involving significant infrastructure transformations and cloud computing issues. His outsourcing experience includes representing clients that are engaging domestic and foreign vendors for a variety of business process and infrastructure services. He has also represented both customers and service providers of credit card processing services, and has advised clients with respect to privacy and data security, confidentiality, and Internet and social media issues. 

Mr. King has worked with a variety of clients across a range of industries, including a global media company on several digital media and services transactions, a major transportation company in its outsourcing of certain infrastructure and information technology functions, and an information technology company on the development and hosting of its global IT system.

Mr. King earned his J.D. cum laude in 2007 from Fordham University School of Law, where he was associate notes and articles editor for the Fordham Urban Law Journal. He received his B.A. from Columbia University in 2001. Mr. King is admitted to practice in New York.
