Matt Janiga is an associate in the firm’s Financial Services Practice Group. Mr. Janiga focuses his practice on consumer financial services and financial institution regulation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Janiga served as counsel in the legal department of a major U.S. financial corporation. Before that, he worked on the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act as counsel to a senior member of the U.S. House of Representatives Financial Services Committee in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Janiga earned his J.D.,
cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School where he was a note and comment editor for the
Minnesota Journal of International Law. He received a B.S. in Communication,
cum laude, from Cornell University.
