There's been a major game-change in the innovation community’s raising of capital with the passing of the JOBS Act (Jumpstart Our Business Startups). From angel funding and ven cap to entrepreneurs and the innovation community; from start-ups through to IPOs and the new category of “emerging growth” companies; from investment at earlier stages to new crowdfund investment developments – for all of these, and after a critical 270 day rule-making period, it will be a whole new world at the beginning of 2013. At this stage, there are a myriad of possibilities that could emerge from these dramatic new investment parameters – but one thing is certain: only the most informed, pluggedin first movers will be best-positioned to take advantage of new market opportunities and investment possibilities

The JOBS Act Investment Summit will assess new investment opportunities & entry points resulting from the Act and explore how it will change investment in start-ups, IPOs, and interactions with brokers/analysts.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how existing advice to clients will need to change, hear about the new opportunities and the pitfalls to avoid, determine how to capitalize on all the new developments, and meet & network with key players.

Infocast certifies that this activity has been approved for Continuing Education credit by the State of California in the amount of 8 hours for the JOBS Act Investment Summit and 5.75 hours for the Executive Forum – The Crowdfunding Revolution. Continuing Education credit hours are subject to change.
